Futsal...the revenge of the Underdog

Its been long time since i updating my blog. I didn't update the blog with things happening in my life, like BBQ with my Rotaract Club members, and trip to China with my family.

And recently which is last Friday 17th October 2008, when i went on playing futsal with my co-workers.

I perform very well. I scored 4 goals!!! and assist 3 goals. It might sound not great to somebody, but its a great achievement to me. Last best game i have, I scored 3 goals. This time i got cheers from my team and also from the opposing team. They cheer on biru! biru! biru! as I wear blue shirt on that day. All my determination to be a better futsal player pays on that day. I hope I play this kind of tempo and momentum in the future.

Success Formula

Recently, I have learn some skills on how to be a sucessful person.

Here there are:

The Success Formula:

1. Know your Outcome, Begin with the end in mind

2. Get motivated and decided to take action, Words are empty, ACTION do the talking

3. Notice the results you getting from your actions, Be mindful on your actions

4. If dont get your the results you expecting, Change it!

5. To save time and energy, find a role model(someone who have the result you wanted) and

learn from them.

6. Find a support group, mastermind group as ppl called it.

and lastly
7. Learn from your failures, its impossible to fail as long as you learn something from what you do

Goodbye Beijing 2008, Hello London 2012

China have achieved high praises from the public and the Olympic organisers as well Beijing 2008 hv been dubbed as the best Olympic game ever. The Beijing Olympic 2008 finished in a spectacular closing ceremony display. Athletics having a great party fun at the bird nest stadium. I still amaze by the one of the performance in the opening ceremony, the 'moving cubes of words 'as i call it. I'm suprise by their accuracy and sharpness to produce images of words and the 3D model of the Great Wall of China and the Bird Nest stadium. You may wonder; Wasn't done by some robotic parts? but its actually done by the humans!

Malaysia performance is better compare to the last Olympics in Athens.Having Datuk Lee Chong Wei to snatch a silver metal in the men single's badminton game, our hopes for metals still lies on the badminton game catergory. Will there be another Chong Wei in the next Olympic? Thats up to the youth development in the badminton association in Malaysia to decide.

Congratulation to China...for winning 50 gold metals!!

Zou Shiming of China won the 50th Gold metal for its country after defeating Purevdorj Serdamba of Mongolia in their light flyweight (48kg) final boxing match. He won a bronze metal in the last Olympic, Athens 2004. He also said he awaiting 4 years to this match, and his secret of sucess, a pizza and hamburgers diet!!

China would be proud, as there only 7 countries acheive 50 gold metals in the entire Olympic history. Now its less than 1 hour to the Beijing 2008 Olympic game! With such a amazing display their opening ceremony....i cant wait till 8pm for their closing showcase.

Blood and Futsal

I played futsal with my company mates. Guess what? I got injured. I was trying to head the ball which is on the air. One of the players kick the ball mid air, as I try to head it. Wham! hit on my face and my glasses. The edges of my spectacle scratch my eyebrow and my nose, causing to bleed like crazy. Luckly, my comp GM is around..hehe. He handed me a towel and use it to press the wound area in order to stop the bleeding.

Everyone is concern of my injury. They advise me to use contact lenses while playing. After a few mins, the bleeding stop. I apply a plaster onto my nose area and start playing after that. On the pitch, ppl start calling me Robbie Fowler! haha

This is the 2nd time i got injure on the face while playing futsal. Maybe its about time for me to play without glasses(but hardly c ppl faces without them..hehe). But as the urban xen saying goes NO PAIN no Game/Gain!

Usain Bolt sets a New World Record for 200M, clocking at 19.20sec....A New WR again!!

Usain Bolt created the Olympic history, in becoming the 1st Olympian to achieve 2 Gold Metals and also 2 World Records in 2 athletic events. Having just become the world fastest man in the 100m run on last saturday, tonight we witness true ability(running all the way to finish line without his lil winning gesture) in suprassing Michael Johnson's 12 year world record.

Its fantastic to see him run, uncontestly and suprassing all the other contestants. Congratulation to the Human Ligthning BOLT, USAIN BOLT!

The Past Does Not Equal to The Future Part 2

While I'm watching the Olympic Badminton Match also switch to watch Chelsea VS Portsmouth game during breaks. Wow... What performance fr Chelsea! Having dictate the game from begining till the end. And playing free-flowing-attacking stlye. Izzit close enough to Brazil futball stlye as promised by Scolari??....maybe. But I'm enjoy watching the game. Chelsea trashing Portsmouth, 4-0, with goals fr J.Cole, Anelka, F.Lampard and Killer ball fr DECO.

Looking back to the PAST 'failure' of Chelsea...having been the runner up in the English Premier League, Runner-up in Carling Cup, and Runner Up in Champion Leagues....this game share some light to Chelsea with some hope of good season ahead. With a few new signings; Scolari with the impressive CV, Deco the hardworker in the Mid-field area and Bosingwa looking strong at the back, the quadruple dream seem achievable.

Dont Hold too much regret from the past, dont dwell to long in daydreaming about the future..Be Present minded. As in the present moment we hv the time to correct our mistakes and shape our POTENTIAL FUTURE.

The Past Does Not EQUAL to The Future Part 1

As a Malaysian, you'll felt heartbroken to watch Lin Dan( Super Dan as some ppl call him) overpower our very own Lee Chong Wei in the Gold Metal Badminton Match yesterday(17/8/08). The result? 12-21, 8-21.....Chong Wei is beaten in 19mins!!! I was expecting to hv a close match between those 2 but after watching half-way of Game 2 when 0-8...it was all over. Chong Wei lost his chance to b the 1st Malaysian to win a Gold Metal at the Olympics and winning 1 million ringgit.....aii...
At the medal ceremony, Chong Wei is in tears after receiving the Silver Metal. He's still 1st Malaysia to receive Silver Medal in Olympic in 12 years.

The past does not equal to Future..as the xen saying goes. Chong Wei admit his poor performance that nite and acknowledging Lin Dan Superb performance, BUT still aiming to his FUTURE achievement.. which is the 2010 Asian Games before concentrating on next Olympic game in London.
